Students
Welcome to St
Joseph’s School. Our school welcomes the enrolment of International
Students. Currently, we have 8 international students from South
Korea.
St Joseph’s School is located in Christchurch city, the South
Island’s largest city with a population of approximately 400
000 people. The school is in the suburb of Papanui in north west
Christchurch very close to the Northlands Shopping Centre.
Please note there is a New Zealand Government requirement that all
international students in Years 1-6 (or 5-10 year olds) live with
a parent. St Joseph’s School prefers that all international
students do live with a parent. However, the school has been approved
to enrol Year 7-8 students (11-13 year olds) living with a designated
caregiver chosen by their parents if there are vacancies available.
