Curriculum - Outdoor Education

Children take part in a variety of education activities outside of the classroom throughout the year. These range from: 3 day outdoor ‘camp’ experiences for Years 5-8. Venues include; Woodend and Living Springs (Y5-6) and Wainui and Omaka (Y7-8)     Annual ski day for Years 7-8     Museum visits     Visits to Science Alive     Antarctic Centre     Ferrymead     Whole school visits to the Groynes and Spencer Park to celebrate St Joseph's Day As usual, parent input with supervision in particular is an important aspect of many excursions and help in this direction is most appreciated.
